We raised over $1,000 for Senior Meals!

On August 27th, 2020, I performed a sold-out, hour-long "Parking Lot" Concert in the parking lot of Park Hill United Methodist Church.

The socially-distanced, mask-required event was held to raise money for the Senior Meals program, which helps seniors, most of whom are homeless, with meals and basic essentials like socks and underwear.

We've been experiencing quite a lot of heat and wild fire smoke, so when Thursday turned out to be a cool, cloudy day, I didn't complain. And, in fact, a rainbow appeared a few minutes into the show! It was a glorious night.

I want to thank everyone who purchased tickets and attended. It was the highlight of my summer! And, thank you to the lovely folks who were unable to attend, but sent in contributions!

We raised just over $1,000. That money will go a LONG way to helping so many people who need the help.

Thank you!

Musicians On Call

Musicians On Call..."By delivering live, in-room performances to patients undergoing treatment or unable to leave their beds, we add a dose of joy to life in a healthcare facility. Check out what we’re doing across the country to help bring more music to hospital patients, families and caregivers."

I can't say enough wonderful things about this organization. As a Volunteer Musician, I've had the honor to play the Seacrest Studios in Children's Hospital in Denver - one of ten across the nation. It's an uplifting and rewarding experience.

If you're in the Denver area and you want to be a Volunteer Musician or a Volunteer Guide, I strongly encourage you to click on the link and check it out!

In the Seacrest Studio with Micah and Cody...and, Ryan, of course!

Under the glass dome

There's nothing like performing in the great outdoors - especially if the "great outdoors" happens to be under the iconic glass dome of the Denver Performing Arts Complex! The vibe of the city mixed with the laid-back feel of the venue makes for a perfect setting to perform songs from all genres.

I like to experiment with writing songs in all kinds of genres. So when I perform, I think  there's a song (or two) to please everyone. I've written pop, folk, rock, country, and even a gospel song! I recently dusted off some lyrics that have been tucked away in a drawer, and I'm revisiting some old themes, which are inspiring new ones!

Maybe you'll hear some new songs this summer under the glass dome!

Greatest Hits & B-Sides

I usually perform a combination of covers and originals. So, when the Denver Performing Arts Complex asked me to perform ALL ORIGINALS for my July - September shows, I was thrilled! It's a rare treat for me that I hope to share with you - come on down!

Cocktails for purchase at the pop-up bar under the iconic glass top of the DPCA.

The 59th Annual Grammy Awards!

It's that time of year again - I'll be heading to Los Angeles for the 59th Annual Grammy Awards! I'm excited to see who will take home the golden

gramophones. And, since I'm a voting member, I have a little skin in the game! Stay tuned for pictures and stories from the red carpet!

2016 Make Music Denver

What a great day to celebrate music all over the world, and right at home in Denver! I had a BLAST playing this year's Make Music Denver at the entrance to the Ellie Caulkins Opera House at the Denver Performing Arts Complex. Thank you to everyone who came by, sat down, and listened for a while. Happy Summer Solstice!
